My name is Tea and I am a blogger! This is my blog - Tea & Biscuits

Where were you born and where do you call home?

I was born in Dorset, England, and whilst I currently live in Southampton whilst I study, I still call Dorset home.

What is the name of the book you most recently blogged about?

Most recently it was Love’s Magic, by Traci E Hall, which comes under both love and Fantasy, and I’m a sucker for both, so I really enjoyed that one, hence writing a review of it.

What was you most favorite character and why?

I’m going to go with Forrester, mainly because he was one of the most consistent characters in the book, and though it never says what eventually happened to him, I hope he gets the happy ending he probably deserves!

Was this a book you were asked to review or did you buy it?

Actually, the answer to this is neither!  It was a free download on kindle, so I thought I’d give it a go, and it was definitely a good idea.

Have you written a book yourself or are you planning to in the future?

I’d absolutely love to write a book in the future!  I’ve half-written several, but the problem is I tend to lose interest a certain way in, or I don’t plan out the whole story, and therefore it tends to run dry.  One day I’m hoping to have a eureka! moment, where a whole story comes to me at once!

What genre is your favorite and why?

I’m going to cheat here and have two – the first is fantasy.  And this is because with fantasy, you can escape to just about anywhere.  It’s such a broad genre, and quite literally anything can happen!  The second is romance, and that’s because, as someone much more intelligent than me once told me “the best part of any story is the love”, which I wholeheartedly agree with, because secretly, I’m just very soppy.

Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?

All three have their merits, and whilst I’m completely in love with my Kindle, I prefer paperbacks, because I just like the feel of having a book in my hands.  Plus, paperbacks fare better (if not well) when I accidentally drop them in the bath if I’m reading there than I’d imagine my kindle would!  Hardbacks are also good, if it’s a book you particularly like, and they don’t tend to end up looking as scruffy as quickly.

What book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?

Currently I’m reading The Kinshield Legacy by K. C. May in Kindle format.

What book are you about to start reading?

I’ve got a few in my TBR pile right now, including your book, Paradox – The Angels are Here, and Blood Warrior by H. D. & Janice Gordon.  I also want to read Bumped by Megan McCafferty, because it’s gotten a lot of mixed reviews, and let’s face it, everyone likes something controversial.

Do you ever blog in your PJ’s?

I normally blog in my PJ’s!

How often do you blog?

I aim for a minimum of three posts every week, but sometimes I end up with a lot more.  It really depends on which meme’s I participate in each week, and obviously how much I read in a given week.

Favorite book character or film character crush.  Yes you can pick 2 :)

I’m going to go with George Cooper, from Tamora Pierce’s Lioness Quartet.  He’s got everything – he’s the rogue, yet he truly cares for Alanna, He’s also got the whole tall, dark and handsome thing going on, for which I’m a complete sucker.

Cats or dogs?

Cats – my cat Tinker is the ultimate curl-up-and-read partner.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee – black, no sugar.

Vanilla or chocolate icecream?

Chocolate!

Where can we STALK you?

A little more about Tea -
Hi, I'm Tea, and I'm a student studying in Southampton, UK and currently on a weight loss mission. In my spare time, I tend to read a lot, and I have a lot of opinions on the books I do read. Of course, I like to share these opinions, and this is the forum in which I tend to choose this. Please remember that all my opinions are my own, and that whilst I enjoy reviewing books, some may be vague due to the fact that I don't want to put spoilers out there. If you have a book that you think I may want to review, message me, and I will provide information. I generally tend to read fantasy, sci-fi and chick lit novels, either YA or adult.
